A WARM WELCOME TO KEEZHUPARAMBU GRAMAPANCHAYATH
Development Plan Document

The Kerala Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 provided the three-tier Panchayati Raj institutions with powers, funds, and administrative mechanisms that had previously been concentrated at the Central and State levels. By implementing Five-Year Plans as people-oriented development programmes, opportunities were created for ordinary people at the grassroots level to participate in the formulation, planning, and implementation of development projects.

Through Kudumbashree, women’s empowerment has been promoted, while the network of ASHA workers has helped expand healthcare activities. Educational activities have been strengthened through School PTAs and SMCs, contributing to improvements in the quality of education. The concerns of vulnerable groups, including senior citizens, women, children, persons with chronic illnesses, and persons with disabilities, have also been addressed through discussions, planning, and implementation of various development programmes.

During the plan period, priority will be given to key development sectors such as agriculture, animal husbandry, employment generation through small-scale enterprises, educational reforms to enable people to meet the challenges of intense international competition, programmes to address unemployment, ensuring clean air and safe drinking water for all, comprehensive housing, creating a clean and beautiful village, and the welfare of all sections of society.

With the expectation of the cooperation and collective efforts of all stakeholders for the development of the region, the Development Plan for the financial year 2026–27 under the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan period is hereby submitted.
