Vision

The major challenges faced in the agricultural sector, particularly coconut cultivation, are the low prices of agricultural produce and the prevalence of diseases and pests such as bud rot and mites. There are currently no units operating in the area for product diversification or value addition. The shortage of labour for harvesting and other agricultural activities in the plantations is another major issue. The establishment of a coconut oil production unit through the District Panchayat is therefore a highly promising initiative for the sector.

Mission

Our mission is to transform Keezhparambu into a model village that preserves its rich agricultural heritage and natural beauty while providing modern amenities and a high quality of life. We aim to build a self-reliant and people-centred local governance system through sustainable agricultural development, quality education, accessible healthcare services for all, and improved infrastructure, with special attention to the needs of marginalized and vulnerable sections of society.
